DANIEL SANDLER PERFECT CANVAS FOUNDATION AND CAMO COVER

A quick post on Daniel Sandler Perfect Canvas Foundation and Camo Cover

I needed to get a few foundations for darker skin tones, and I had initially been looking at Maq Pro foundations but then I came across a blog post from epiphanniea and thought I would give Daniel Sandler a go, especially as the foundations where (and still are) only £2.50, this is an 'offer' price, and the shades tend to vary mainly for darker skin tones... I would say from Olive (tan) skin tones to the more darker ebony tones with red undertones... for me the shades available where perfect! I also ordered 3 different shades of Daniel Sandler Camo Cover.

Daniel Sandler Perfect Canvas Shades: 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 (x3)
Daniel Sandler Camo Cover Shades: 9, 8, 5

The swatch above, is shade 15 at the top down to shade 19 (Perfect Canvas Foundation) and shades 9, 8 and 5 concealer (Camo Cover) on the right.

I edited my order sooooo many times that I hadnt realised I had ordered shade 15 Perfect Canvas THREE TIMES! lol uuppsss... so I am sending 2 back in exchange for sades 8 & 9 which are the two lightest shades currently available (I want to use them on myself for a follow up review!)

The bottles are quite small, they are 15ml (0.5fl oz) but the general opinion is that a little goes a long way and so this will last you quite a while, depending on how often you use them! but kit wise these are perfect as they dont take up much space...

The Camo Covers, are quite creamy but they seem to dry very quickly, I ordered shade 5 thinking it would be alright for me, but I think its going to be quite dark, so once I try it on mysef I can do a better review on it, these where also on sale! These concealers claim to be 'Heavy Duty with added Tea Tree' so not only will they cover dark circles but they will also treat :)

With my purchase, I also received a FREE Concealer Brush so definately looking forward to using that :)

Have you tried any Daniel Sandler products? if so, what have you tried and what is your opinion??

VIVO Radiant Boost Highlighter

Today I am doing a quick review of the VIVO Radiant Boost Highlighter...

I love the packaging, the product is easy to apply with the brush, however I would recommend dabbing a few dots under the eye, then tapping/smoothing it out with your finger...

the consistency is quite creamy, and has a nice 'pinkish' shade which is great for concealing dark circles as well as giving a nice brightening effect.

I think its a pretty good buy if your on a budget, if I had to give it a mark out of 10, I'd probably give it an 8.

Hope this was helpful if you have been indecisive on whether to get it or not.

OJERAS!!! How To Treat Those Nasty Circles!

Las ojeras!! hacen que uno se vea sin vida, cansada and quite frankly makes you feel crappy... Hay mujeres que sufren de ojeras por cosa de herencia, asi como hay mujeres que solo sufren de ojeras temporaniamente... so how do you treat them??? la manera mas rapida es cubrir las ojeras con un 'corrector' al known as CONCEALER lol suena super facil, pero aveces al tratar de cubrir you end up making it worse... to avoid this, I recommend the following:

1. Get a good concealer, one that tends to have more of a 'pinkish' or 'yellow' tone to it as this will counter act the 'blue-ish' tone.

2. Use a SMALL amount, dont plaster it on... start with a few dots and then PAT it on dont use a sweeping action as all you are doing is moving the product rather than allowing it to set.

Product I would recommend:

1. Lierac Diopti-Cerne £17.00 - not only does it conceal but also treats! contains Arnica, Butcherbroom and Mandresy.

2. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit £23.00 - this little kit contiene the setting powder que ayuda a que el corrector dure todo el dia.

Remedios Caseros Para Las Ojeras:

1. Aceite De Almendra (Almond Oil) rub a small amount around the eyes antes de acostarse por tres semanas.

2. Tomate y Limon - una cucharadita de jugo fresco de Tomate, mas media cucharadita de Limon, mesclar con un poquito de arina (basically make a small amount of paste with the three ingredients) despues aplicar esta pasta alrededor de las ojeras y dejarselo hasta que empiese a sentir que se empiesa a endureser (por hay 5-10 minutos). Para quitarselo, use algodon con agua tibia.

3. 8 HOURS SLEEP!! - no se trasnochen! (easier said than done, i know i know!)

Hope this helps!
