Valentines Day Makeup - 3 adaptable looks :)

Hey girlies... so today i was at the supermarket, and guess what caught my eye! KRISPY KREME!!! but not just your typica Krispy Kreme but a heart shaped Krispy Kreme!!! it was so cute... i bought one for the hubby since he likes Krispy Kreme... :) anyways just thought I wud share that with you jejejejeje

Okay so today I did 3 looks... I started with a basic nude eye look, then adapted it slightly by adding some colour to the lower lashes and a little just under the brow... then I did a more 'smokey' look... the lip colour stayed the same through out... why did i do this? well because some of you may really not be keen on too much colour so I did a simple nude eye look with colour just on the lips... some of you may want to try a but of colour on the eyes but are a bit scared of looking like a clown, so the easy way to introduce colour is by adding a hint of colour just under the lower lashes with the option of adding also just under the brow...for those who really want a more dramatic look, I did the smokey eye... so i hope you like all three looks, and maybe it will inspire you to try them....

PREPPING BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

Before starting, as usual I applied Too Faced Shadow Insurance to the whole lid and brow bone, then applied NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk. I also primed my face with Urban Decay Complexion Potion and used Laura Mercier  Concealer to cover the dark circles under my eyes and then applied NYC foundation. I contoured my cheeks (i have a fat face lol) with Sleek Face Contour in Medium and then applied some blush by 17.

NUDE EYES & PINK LIPS: good for those who dont like to wear alot of eyemakup or who have hubbys that dont like their women wearing alot of makeup - yes this is the case with some ppl ;0)

I applied a matte eyeshadow close to my skin colour all over the lid and brow bone... to give a slight contour I added a light brown just to the crease... I lined my eye with Sleeks Ink Pot in Black, I didnt do too much of a long wing kept it quite short... under the lower lashes i applied a MAC eyeshadow in a soft color...then added some white pencil to the waterline... i applied mascara to both the top and lower lashes...

NUDE EYES WITH A HINT OF COLOR & PINK LIPS: this is great for those of you who want to add a hint of color to your Valentines day look :)

so the process was the same as above, just that I added a fucia pink (you can use whatever colour u like) just under the lower lashes... I then added a more neon pink just under the eyebrow and blended it with a highlighter colour

SMOKEY LOOK & PINK LIPS: this is for those who want a more dramatic a sultry look... great for an evening date.

Instead of applying black to creat the smokey eye effect, I used a dark shade of grey. I only applied this grey color to the crease... I then added more highlighter on the browbone and applied a bit more of the matte eyeshadow to the eyelid. I also added Avon Glimmerstick in black to the waterline...

So there you have it chicas! 3 looks, each time adapting it to make it more dramatic... all three looks would suit anyone and will look uuhh-mazin for Valentines day, I guarantee your partner will be blown away with whichever look you go for ;0) ...

Valentines Day: Pink & Gold :)

Todays look is a little more suttle... i think this would look great during the day and even as an evening look... If you want to make a lil more sultry, just add a little bit of black or even brown to the outer corners of the eye (outer V) and blend in a little, so i guess creating a smokey eye look :)

As usual I prep my face by applying Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion to my nose cheeks and forhead and I also apply Too Faced Shadow Insurance all over my eye lids and browbone followed my NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk...

I used a gold/pink pigment by NYX on the lid, and then a more deeper shade of pink on the outer corners (it looks a bit like fucia in the pics)

I then added a light goldish colour (it looks silver in the pics)  from my 'Original' Sleek Palette to the inner corners of the eye and all over the brown bown then blended the colours...

under the lower lashes, on the inside corner of the eye to the middle of the lower lashes, I added a gold eyeshadow from my Manly 120 palette...
I then Lined the upper lid with Bourjois Liquid Liner in black and applied my Eyelure party lashes... I then added a bit more liner using Avon Glimmerstick in black, i also lined my waterline with Avons Glimmerstick in black... then applied mascara to blend my lashes with the Eyelure lashes...
for my eyebrows i used a brown eyeshadow to fill them in and give them a more fuller look (i love thick eyebrows!!!)

for the rest of the face, i applied NYC foundation, Laura Mercier concealer under the eyes and contoured my cheeks with Sleek Face Contour in Medium and used the highlighter that it comes with to highligh the top of my cheek bones. I also applied a little bit of highlighter on the top of my nose.
On the lips I used a very pale pink lipgloss by Calvin Klein, the name of the colour has unfortunately rubbed of so I cant tell you what shade... but basically you can use any shade of lipgloss or lipstick that you like... Avons lipstick in Sparkling Nude would look great, or to be more daring, go for a nice bright fucia lipstick :)

Here are a few more pics, hope you like ....

Valentines Day Makeup ... Copper, Purple & Red

Valentines day is fast approaching... me imagino que todas estan de puro preparativo (i bet you're all getting ready!) thinking of where to go, que ponersen and most importantly who to spend it with!!

I am going to try and do a few Valentines day looks to suit everyone, remember what I always say, adapt any makeup look to suit you! You can use different shades of the same colours I use to better suit your skin tone even your mood!! :)

My first look which I did lastnite, was a coppery, red and purple look with a goldish highlight on the brown bone... Red is not a common shade to use as one of my besties pointed out, so I decided to do a look which incorporated el color rojo :) In the pics it actually looks more of a pink shade than a red shade...

Also, since I have submitted my friends to before and after pics, I thought it should only be fair if for once i did the same!! Yes mujeres I'm exposing my bare face to the world.... ok actually I dont wear any makeup at all during the week... but I very rarely take a pic with no makeup!!! I HAVE A ZILLION IMPERFECTIONS!!! all hidden under makeup hehehehehehe

WARNING: the following image may cause nausea, bad dreams and a bit of a fright at first glance.... (ok I am kidding I dont look that bad!)

BEFORE:

AFTER:

This combination of colors may not be everyones cup of tea but I actually like it... its very bold so it would really require a nice simple dress or top to go with it...

Before applying eyeshadow, I primed my eyes with Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and applied NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk... I also primed my face by applying Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion.

On the eyes i used RED eyeshadow only on the lids, and in the innder corners i used NYX pigment in Rust Pearl (its like a copper shade) and then blended the colours slightly so you dont see where one color starts and ends... I then used a dark PURPLE eyeshadow on the outer V and all the way over on the crease... this was also slightly blended to reduce any hard lines.... again focusing just on the outer V of the eye i blended in a bit of black shadow... for highlight I used MAC Naked Lunch... this same shade was used under the lower lashes but only in the middle.. I then used Super Shock Mascara by AVON... and lined my eyes using Bourjois Liquid Liner and AVON Glimmerstick both in Black... I took some pics with and without Lashes so in the pics where i do have lashes, I used the same one I have used in my previous post (i seriously need to invest in new ones)

On the face I used NYC Foundation in Natural Tan, I also used a bit of Laura Mercier concealer under the eyes... I slightly contoured my cheeks using Sleeks Face Contour Kit in Medium... then applied some highlighter with my finger just above the cheek bone and then blended together... for blush i used The Body Shop Cheek Colour in 03

For the lips i moisturised them using a bit of vaseline... then applied lipstick by AVON in shade Sparkling Nude.
