Daniel Sandler Perfect Canvas in shade 08 & 09
I received today 2 more perfect canvas foundations in shade 08 and 09, these are the two lightest shades available on the Daniel Sandler website.
In the pics below, I am wearing Perfect Canvas in shade 08!
I love how this feels on the skin! It seriously feels like there is nothing on it, it blends super easy with my Real Techniques Stipling brush, you only need a small amount and just layer it if you want extra coverage. As you can see it also photographs quite well, the pic on the lower left was taken in front of my window with natural light shining through :)
Im super anal about my scars and this doesnt sink into them (i did use a primer though) however even with a primer i find that some foundations still sink into the scars and make them stand out more. All in all, Im super happy with this Daniel Sandler Perfect Canvas foundation :)
just as a little side note, shade 08 isnt 'yellow' based, it has more of a pinkish undertone, and although I have an olive complexion I have a mix of yellow and pink undertones and this still suited quite well.
i hope this has been helpful, would love to know your opinions if you have tried these shades yourself :)
Givenchy Gloss in 02 & Dior Lipstick in Rose Tourbillon 651
aqui les dejo a quick post on my lip choice for today... Ive been feeling super sick the past few days so today I really needed a little pick me up, and this lip combination was part of it :)
I think this is a perfect pinky nude combination, its taken a while for me to love these two products, but after a few wears I am now loving it...
The Givenchy lipgloss gives loads of shine and def looks best when combined with a lipstick, it doesnt suit me well on its own.
The Dior lipstick, gives like a semi matte look, its very conditioning and is the perfect every day lipstick.
both items can be bought from your usual department stores, and the Dior lipstick Im sure it can be found in Boots. I bought both of these from a friend who was selling a few items.
what do you think of Givenchy lipglosses and Dior lipsticks??

DANIEL SANDLER PERFECT CANVAS FOUNDATION AND CAMO COVER
I needed to get a few foundations for darker skin tones, and I had initially been looking at Maq Pro foundations but then I came across a blog post from epiphanniea and thought I would give Daniel Sandler a go, especially as the foundations where (and still are) only £2.50, this is an 'offer' price, and the shades tend to vary mainly for darker skin tones... I would say from Olive (tan) skin tones to the more darker ebony tones with red undertones... for me the shades available where perfect! I also ordered 3 different shades of Daniel Sandler Camo Cover.
I edited my order sooooo many times that I hadnt realised I had ordered shade 15 Perfect Canvas THREE TIMES! lol uuppsss... so I am sending 2 back in exchange for sades 8 & 9 which are the two lightest shades currently available (I want to use them on myself for a follow up review!)
The bottles are quite small, they are 15ml (0.5fl oz) but the general opinion is that a little goes a long way and so this will last you quite a while, depending on how often you use them! but kit wise these are perfect as they dont take up much space...
The Camo Covers, are quite creamy but they seem to dry very quickly, I ordered shade 5 thinking it would be alright for me, but I think its going to be quite dark, so once I try it on mysef I can do a better review on it, these where also on sale! These concealers claim to be 'Heavy Duty with added Tea Tree' so not only will they cover dark circles but they will also treat :)
With my purchase, I also received a FREE Concealer Brush so definately looking forward to using that :)
Have you tried any Daniel Sandler products? if so, what have you tried and what is your opinion??

MONTAGNE JENNESSE Hot Chocolate Pore Cleansing Sauna Masque
I have very oily skin, particularly on the good ol T-Zone, my cheecks and around my nose can be a little weird though as it can get oily, but at times feel a little dehydrated. I have quite large pores, and quite a lot of acne scars (so depressing!) so when I do masks, I go for pore cleansing masks, and also masks that help to tighten and minimize pore size, I find that these also help thee lovely scars...
This Chocolate Pore Cleansing Sauna Masque seemed ideal, as I needed something to deep cleanse, I wasnt expecting smaller/tighter pores but hey even if it doesnt say it on the packaging, one could wish for that as an extra, right? WELL... The mask made NO difference at all, I didnt feel it did much cleansing of the pores, my skin felt a little dry once I washed it all off, and I felt I needed to triple moisturise after using it... the mask was left on for no longer than 15mins. The only good thing about this mask was the texture of it, ease of application and the scent. Thats it, NADA MAS! (nothing more) so yep, totes disappointed!
I was going to post a before and after, but my skin is so bad with no makeup that I just couldn't put you all through that, you might have nightmares! haha (trust me its bad!)
ROBERTO CAVALLI - si tuviera todo el dinero del mundo...
His designs, the prints, the fabrics just everything shouts Classy Sexiness... si tuviera todo el dinero del mundo, and had J-Lo's figure, I would dress from head to toe in Cavalli. Below les dejo some of my favourite pieces from the Autumn/Winter 13 collection
What I also love is that Cavalli have, although limited (and not always flattering) a PLUS SIZE range, which if your interested in, go to http://www.navabi.co.uk/_roberto-cavalli-white.html and check out the plus size pieces on offer... my favorite is the Roberto Cavalli White Leopard Print Dress click on the link to view http://www.navabi.co.uk/dresses-roberto-cavalli-white-leopard-print-dress-olive-green-black-9882-5424.html
Are there any designers that you favor and do they have a range that caters to the more voluptuous woman? If money wasnt an issue, what would you spend your money on???

ASDA: Wonderfit Jeans #PlusSize
Im totally INLOVE!
As una gordita, finding jeans is sometimes challenging, and I am very fussy when it comes to jeans! My favorite color when it comes to jeans is Black, I just think they look so good with anything, dressed up or down! and I am also very fussy when it comes to the type of 'black' as I hate the cheap looking faded kind of black, for me, they have to be a real pure black shade, exactly like the ones I found in ASDA! These jeans are super stretchy, and when I tried them on, they fit sooooo good! they make my booty look fabulicioussss if I do say so myself! :) I also stumbled across this amazing sweater which is going to be great for the coming autumn season... it has a type of leopard print (which is my fav type of print) and a gold '84' motif on the front... If any of you come across these items in ASDA, I totally urge you to purchase! I cant wait to wear my new jeans and sweater!

Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation RF233
Hola hermosas! hace tiempos no escribia algo, as you are probably aware I totally suck at being consistant! but when I am inspired its because Ive probably found something really good to write about... in this case its about ILLAMASQUA RICH LIQUID FOUNDATION in shade RF233...
I originall got this back in March, I was looking for a full coverage foundation that would photograph well, as I had a wedding to go to in April and so I needed something that would hopefully blurr my large pores and acne scarring and not give me a horrible ashy look in the photographs...soooo after much research and hearing such good reviews, I went and invested in the Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation. I was matched to RF233 which is for Olive Skin with Golden Undertones... I was very happy with my purchase, it went on well for the wedding, but then! I decided to use it on a night out and omg! que feo que se veia! (it looked horrible) I have oily skin, and with this on, you would think I had super dry flaky skin, it also sunk into my pores and scars (even though I had used a primer) and just no! it looked WRONG! ... I then went and bought a stippling brush and tried again on a seperate occasion, it went on ok, but I was now starting to doubt the foundation...I didnt know what I was doing wrong, so I went and read up on other peoples reviews and experiences, and by the looks of it, alot where having the same issue! ... however they all agreed that once you knew how to use it properly, you would fall inlove all over again... so whats the do's and dont's??? instead of babbling on, below I will list a few points to take on board when using this foundation...
DO'S:
- MOISTURISE, moisturise,MOISTURISE...and when you've done that, MOISTURISE again! lol
- use a pore/line filling primer if you have large pores or scars
- a little REALLY does go a long way! and I seriously mean A LITTLE, not even pea size! SMALLER!
- start with one side of the face and then move on, section by section
- buff! buff! buff! ... this foundation needs working to acheieve a flawless finish so buff that baby in!
- put 'spots' all over the face and then work into the skin, this foundation dries in seconds, so is hard to blend in, if you dont work it in quickly
- even if you have an oily t-zone or all over oily skin, dont forget to cleanse, tone and moisturise before you apply this foundation, the key to good coverage with flawless result is a good moisturised/hydrated skin!

Body Shop Haul... #teatree #oilyskin
My skin lately hasnt been at its greatest so I decided to take a trip to The Body Shop and get some Tea Tree products... I love using Tea Tree to control breakouts and oil.
They had a 3 for 2 offer so I invested in a scrub, body wash and face wipes.
I also got a free mini body cream when I signed up for their store rewards card.
Last night I used the wipes before going to bed, it did feel a lil tingly but it was ok it actually helped dry up a little spot I had on my forehead! This morning I woke up and it had dissappeared... I am about to go try the scrub and body wash now so I will report back in a few day to see how Im getting in with it...
Have an awesome Saturday! Muuaahhh

My Own Worst CRITIC ... a plus size issue...
Hey Girlies... a bit of a different post...from the norm that is.
I am a PLUS SIZE chic... have been ALL MY LIFE... have never been slimmer than a size UK14 (apart from when I was younger than 12)... as time has gone by that size has grown and grown... partly my fault partly medical (I have PCOS)...
When I was a teenager, I didnt have the fab plus size bloggers we now have, or fab plus size fashion like we have from Simply Be, Fabulous (from Very) and well all the other well known clothing range...as well as models in the plus size range... I come from a country where looks are HIGHLY IMPORTANT, and where 'gorditas' are not that common...my beautiful Colombia, full of beautiful women, however most of them have had some sort of surgery - lipo, but implants, boob implants (even ribs taken out...i kid you not!)... anyways so basically I had no encouragement to love myself for being gordita, it was always 'you have such a pretty face, if only you lost a bit of weight, and I get it to this day...
So what is the point to this post? ... well... I've got so fed up of being told what is beautiful and what is not, based on size and weight, and Im fed up of dieting... (even tho i still do it? go figure!) and so Ive almost turned to images on FB and internet of plus size models, and bloggers, who all look FREAKIN AMAZING!!! some are way bigger than I am, yet i still look at their pics and think DAMN SHE LOOKS GOOD... so ive now asked myself,
WHO INSPIRES ME...
have you ladies checked out Volup2 ??? I mean this magazine is amazing...it was the first magazine I looked at and thought wow! I wish I had the courage to pose like that... and I've seen more and more magazine aimed at the plus size FASHIONISTAS which is amazing! and inspiring... Ive also looked to Georgina Horne from Fuller Figure Fuller Bust for inspiration, she is an inspiration to many of us busty, curvy ladies! ... then you also have Courtney Mina from The Glitter Thread and who can forget the awesome VELVET D'AMOUR ... there are also inspiring models such as Denise Bidot, Fluvia Lacerda, Rosie Mercado & Lornalitz Baez..there are so many others as well...I am sure you all have your favourites too...
MY MISSION...
to stop wishing I looked like everyone else, and start appreciating the way I look a bit more...the way I give props to those gorgeous ladies who I admire so much, I need to also give myself and view myself in the same way... because one day, If I have a daughter, I want her to always feel amazing, and never to question whether she is beautiful based on what she hears or sees in mainstream media...

Has it ever happened that you see a bag or an item that you want yet when you go and buy it its out of stock everywhere???? Ok i know this happened with the Urban Decay palette lol how annoyin was that! Anyways recentlt i saw a girl with the most amazing bag i thought it was a designer bag as it looked so expensive however on a trip to River Island just before xmas i came across the bag...i swear it was like a halleluyah moment lol i held out tho hoping the madre (mother) wud get it for xmas .. wrong! However my hermano (brother) gave me a gift card for RI so off i went in search of my bag with no luck!!!! Until yesterday where i finally found it at the Bond Street branch...it wasnt the black one i originally wanted but the blue navy one was good enough if not better as it looks nice with khaki jacket frm Very.co.uk
Anyways enough babbling...this is the bag ive been searching for and i cant wait to use it...
I also picked up the new naked palette at Debenhams for £20 and a NARS eyeshadow pencil £17 (Selfridges)..review to follow...
